Microblading creates strokes just like your own eyebrow hair to create a fuller look. Microblading results create amazing looking eyebrows, however the procedure is not recommended for everyone. To prevent any complications related to your overall well being, please review the suggestions/requirements and contraindications below.

Ombre Powder Brows is a form of tattooing, but it is different from the traditional method. It is a more modern method because it is surface work meaning it is on the epidermis layer of the skin. The technique is described by it’s name – the results are more powdery and fluffy with a faded front and a crisp tail. Because it does not penetrate deep into the dermis layer of the skin, the results will last UP TO 1-3 years depending on skin type. All results vary.

MICROBLADING HEALING TIMELINE
Pigment reaches darkest level on day two
Light scabbing develops where microblading strokes occurred
Scabbing from microblading strokes begin to peel and flake off, sometimes revealing no definite, visible color in skin
Pigment in skin continues to oxidize and microbladed strokes begin to reappear in color intended from the beginning, but some strokes come back looking patchy
Eyebrows fully healed and ready to undergo the finishing effects of touch-up appointment
Beautiful eyebrow enhancement/transformation is complete after final touch-up
AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS
Apply the specialized aftercare lotion only one or two times per day.
Itching is likely to occur throughout the early stages of the microblading healing process so most clients typically only use the lotion when they are experiencing itching.
Be mindful to limit the application of the aftercare lotion to only twice per day to avoid suffocating the skin and interfering with the skin’s natural healing process.
***It is critical to avoid the following during all 14 days after your microblading procedure.
Touching the eyebrow area except only when following the aftercare instructions for Day 1 and also Days 2 – 7.
Scratching, picking or peeling the eyebrow area where the microblading occurred to prevent scarring and the pigment from being removed.
Sun exposure – sun tanning – salon tanning
Laser or chemical peels, and any other form of exfoliation
Exercise – participating in sports and activities that induce perspiration (sweating)
Long, hot baths or showers – jacuzzis – saunas – swimming
Applying any creams to your face or neck containing retinol or glycolic acid.
Engaging in tasks like heavy household cleaning where airborne debris can become prevalent.
Transportation in vehicles where strong wind is present, for example; driving in cars with the windows down, convertibles, motorcycles, bicycles, and boats.
Drinking excessive amounts of alcohol, as it can cause wounds to heal slower.
It’s now okay to resume all your normal activities except, continue to avoid any creams containing retinal or glycolic acid until after the completion of your microblading touch up appointment, and its healing process as well.

if you have a previous brow tattoo that might have turned grey, red, pink, purple, or green, please send a clear picture of your brows and Tammy will assess whether she can work on top of it and attempt to color correct. In some cases, she will have you come in for an in person consultation. Color correction sessions will attempt to correct the color by color shifting it back to a shade of brown. If your brows require a separate color correcting session, shaping will not take place until the desired shade of brown has been achieve. Color corrections can take multiple sessions.
